Q: How long does a fence installation take?
The installation duration will vary based on the size of the job, the terrain and the type of fence. You can discuss this with us when we provide you with an estimate.
Q: What is the cheapest fencing?
Generally, the least expensive options are t-posts with barbed wire or chain link.
Q: Are you insured and licensed?
Yes, we are a licensed contractor and have all the required insurance.
Q: What maintenance will my fence need?
Maintenance will depend on the type of fence installed. Most often the repairs are due to someone running into a fence or other kinds of accidents. Chain link and ornamental iron fences last a long time and require little to no maintenance. Wood fences may require posts to be replace after 10-15 years.
Q: What type of posts do you use for your fencing? (concrete, steel, etc.)
It depends on the type of fence being installed (e.g. chain link will have galvanized steels posts, ornamental iron will have iron posts, vinyl will have vinyl posts, wood will have treated wood posts or even metal). Posts are usually set in the ground in concrete.
Q: Will you remove old/existing fences?
Yes, we can remove and haul away your old/existing fence. When providing you with an estimate we will inquire about this and if applicable it will be included in your estimate.
Q: Can you walk me through the commercial fence installation process?
The fencing process will differ based on the type of material used but generally the steps are as follows: 1. Site visit to provide an estimate 2. Mobilization 3. Removal of existing/old fence 4. Digging holes 5. Installing and setting posts 6. Stretching (chain link) , Installing panels (e.g. vinyl, ornamental iron) or Pickets (wood) 7. Clean up
Q: Do you find property lines?
No, we do not. The customer is responsible for knowing and/or marking the property line or getting it surveyed.
Q: Do you call for public utilities?
Yes, we can mark out and contact DigAlert when necessary to determine if there are any issues prior to digging the holes.
Q: Do you use subcontractors?
We do not typically use any subcontractors unless there is a special need the we cannot meet with our existing employees.
Q: Do you offer any warranties?
Yes, we do. There is a 1-year warranty on our workmanship and each fence has a different warranty for the material. We can discuss that with you when you tell us about what kind of fence you wish to install.
